I have had Chinese Chinese food from a few different spots in the south suburbs, the food here is by far the best! I ordered a veggie egg roll and a small shrimp kow (no mushrooms). I posted the pic on the restaurants website (white container egg roll placed in the upper right hand corner, on a dark wood table). The vegetables were fresh. They were cooked just right, not too soft, not too hard. The veggie eggroll was delicious! I like the fact that there was no peanut butter after taste. I’m not sure why some Chinese restaurants use peanut butter inside their egg roll, but I’m not a fan of it. This was not the case at this location. I gave the atmosphere four stars, because the place is outdated, well overdue for a modern makeover. Also, they do not have the option to dine in. Before Covid, you were able to do so, now they use the dining space as storage area. It’s visible to customers and is not appealing. However, this wasn’t a reason for me to walk away. In my opinion, it would be a great idea for them to incorporate some type of petition to hide the eyesore. The lady who takes the orders is not an amateur to this environment, she is very thorough and gives a new meaning to the term multitasker. She’s the receptionist, the cashier and the host all in one. She answers two lines with incoming calls, inputs data, and accepts payments and does it with ease, I was impressed!!!! 👏🏼🙌 Oh there’s a small fee for using your credit card. I think I paid 30 cents (price of food $23), not a deal breaker for me. So try this place, I think you’ll like it. Bon appétit!Royal TApril 29, 2026

Liang's Garden Restaurant perfectly emulates the essence of Supreme Quality. I have always enjoyed Asian cuisine, however not every Asian restaurant is made equal. Some of them do not have a single person of Asian descent working on staff, thus it is easily noticeable. You can not have a bunch of Cubans, making Cantonese cuisine, and expect everything, to be authenticly tasting. There is nothing racist about it, it is all about culture, and being genetically predisposed, to certain methods of madness. I first tried Liang's Garden Restaurant around the Covid Shut down. I am actually surprised, it took me so long, for me to finally eat here. I grew up not far from this area. I used to work out at the now closed LA Fitness, down the Street. I believe it is due to people's loyalty to good Chinese Restaurants. I used to eat at one, in Homewood called Golden Buddha. This location is the closest to matching their amazing flavor. Ever since I started eating here, they are always a top option, if I don't feel like cooking. What really makes Liang's Garden Restaurant special, is not just the high quality of the taste, but the abundance of theportions they give. I am a big guy, and I can eat a lot. However, I can never finish an entire dinner plate from Liang's, in one sitting. I ordered Mongolian Chicken last night, and the chicken was not dry at all, it was sweet and juicy. In addition, there are other details, that highlights Liang's dedication, to customers satisfaction. For example, this is the only Chinese restaurant, that I have ordered from, that does not charge extra, for having Shrimp Fried Rice, with the lunch and dinner specials. I have been to a significant number of Oriental Restaurants, and I can say without a doubt, this is the ONLY ONE that does not charge extra. It is originally offered with the meal. All the other restaurants, originally offer pork or beef fried rice, but then charge extra for the shrimp, because they know, that is what everyone wants. It is little things like that, that puts them above others. Liang's Garden Restaurant is a beautiful building and has a nice Zen ambiance inside. The only somewhat constructive criticism I have is, I wish they would eventually open up, the dine in option. I would love to sit down and have a meal. I can imagine, it was shut down, due to Covid. There are many businesses, that did not survive all that chaos. However places like Liang's Garden Restaurant, will never fold. It is due to their understanding, of placing Quality over everything else. That is how you build a loyal customer base, that will fight hard, to keep everything operational, so their favorite businesses do not close. Thank you very much.FrankFebruary 28, 2026
